Dr. Pamela Marcenaro

Dr. Pamela Marcenaro is an award-winning higher education leader with over 20 years of experience in the areas of academic support services, admissions, advisement, financial aid, community engagement, and online higher education marketing. Currently, she is the Assistant VP of Enrollment Management at County College of Morris (CCM) overseeing Admissions, Records & Registration, The Academic Success Center/First Year Advising, Veteran Services, and Dual Enrollment.

Before her role as AVP, Dr. Marcenaro was the Dean of Learning Support and Opportunity Services at CCM, leading the award-winning Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program and all tutoring operations, along with working on other onboarding, student success, retention, and graduation initiatives. Furthermore, she was the founding program director for the College Promise program, high school career/college readiness community program. Dr. Marcenaro also worked in the online higher education marketing industry, supporting visibility and enrollment efforts for a diverse non-and-for-profit college client portfolio.

She has a Doctor of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Rowan University, an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a BS in Business Management from William Paterson University. Her area of research centers on first-year community college student success focused on students’ academic and social adaptation from first to second term, and best practices that lead to retention and graduation.

Dr. Marcenaro is a Peruvian immigrant, coming to the United States with her family when she was 10 years old. She is a long-time Morris County resident along with her husband Angel and their daughter Deandra.
